Leading Ladies - backstory
Wanda Chavis
Wanda was raised in the home of a Home Missionary pastor - who planted churches and built people. He mentored her husband, Jeff, who she married in 1975. Jeff and Wanda have worked in Pastoral Ministry since 1981 in the same location. She has served as the North Carolina District Ladies President for the United Pentecostal Church Int'l for 15+ years; and serves with her husband on many committees nationally with Multicultural Ministries.
Wanda's Why
My passion to serve and support women in ministry was birthed thru my own experiences. Living in the Parsonage my entire life gave me unique insight. Sharing the man in my life with the masses brought many lonely days and nights. I remember the overwhelm, stress and challenges of leading with no team; no mentor; and very little finances. I am excited to share my 40+ years of experience and the systems I have discovered. I feel this support can make a positive difference for leading ladies who are pastor's wives - female ministers - female leaders or preachers wives.
Wanda's Credentials
Breast cancer in 2008 set Wanda on a health journey of physical insight - culminating in her education and brick-and-mortar business.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Alternative Medicine and a Masters in Public Health Administration with concentration in Complimentary Medicine. Wanda owns a thermography business in Spring Lake, NC;
